SilverCut/Maverick - Break Settings

 

Break Settings is button in the CAM page that will change all your default lead in/lead outs. Once you make a change in break settings it will stay that way for all your programs until you make a new change. In this sample we will be changing the Perimeters to have start at corner activated and default to a ¼” Line lead in and lead out.

 

 

1.  Click on the Break Settings Button

 

-  Parameters and Settings will open on the right of the screen

 

-  Click the check box for “Enable Start at Corner”

 

-  Under Lead In, change the Length Type to “Fixed” and the length below to .25”

 

-  Under Lead Out, change the Length Type to “Fixed” and the length below to .25”




2.  Click on the “Cutouts” option on the top of the Parameters - Make sure “Enable Start at Corner” is selected

 

- Change the “Leads for Corners” to match what was entered for Perimeters

 

- Under “Leads for Non-Corners” change the Length type to “fixed” and the length under it to .25” - Click the green check mark or Enter on the keyboard when complete



3.  New default Lead in/Lead Outs will be active on all parts until the settings are changed again - New Lead In/Lead Outs in blue squares
