Bridge Tool

The Bridge tool is a very useful feature in CAD that can quickly and easily join parts together or remove sections without having to draw lines and trim. This document will show how to use the Bridge Tool.

1.  Select the Bridge tool

- Bridge is on the far right of the ribbon in the CAD page next to the Measure tool, under the Transform section

2.  Enter Bridge width in the Parameters on the right of the page

- The smallest bridge you should make is two times the kerf width of your set up

3.  Create a bridge

-  The best way to make a bridge is to go from white-to-white or gray-to-gray

-  Click a start point and an end point of the bridge (you do not have to click and drag to make a bridge)

-  You can reposition bridges before accepting them. Click and drag on the blue to move the bridge

-  Once you have the bridge positioned where you want it, click Enter on the keyboard or the green check mark
